Description of Campagnolo Record Cassette 11s Steel/Ti Campagnolo Record 11-speed cassette. The first 8 sprockets are made of steel and the 3 biggest sprockets are made of titanium. With an optimized teeth design the speed and fluidity of shifting is improved. This form reduces stress on the chain which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets and increases durability. To improve the rigidity and reduce weight the last pair of three sprockets are mounted on a aluminium frame. Thanks to this rigidity increases by 180% and the individual sprockets are 70% more resistant to torsion. Additional weight saves an aluminium lock-ring.
